Flood

First we had snow, then ice & now flooding here in the Northwest. This was taken today by my daughter Roshane of their front yard in Snohomish. In the boat we have Sugar (the boxer), Jeremy, and my 2 year old granddaughter Rita - who thinks rowing around her yard in a boat is the coolest thing ever! (click on picture to see full size)

HOPE THEY ARE SAFE TODAY ROBERTA, LARRY AND I WERE UP BUILDING A DAM LAST NIGHT IN THE IRRIGATION DITCH TO SLOW THE WATER FROM
COMMING INTO OUR FRONT POND.....IT WAS A WATERFALL GOING DOWN TO THE BACK POND....THE GROUND SO WET WE WERE SINKING TO OUR KNEES..
WHAT A MESS.......HOOKED UP A PUMP AND RAN A HOSE DOWN TO THE BACK POND AND THIS MORNING IT SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN THE PRESSURE OFF OF THE FRONT POND AND STOPPED THE OVER FLOW........SO MY HOPE AND CONCERN FOR YOU AND YOURS IS THAT THEY SURVIVE......LOVE PAULA

Wow, that looks horrible. I hope the waters subside without too much damage.
