circular truths

"Forming a circle
is a symbolic way
of asserting that
the true teacher
is always invisible
and always
in our midst."

Last Sunday's gospel and homily had to do with the farmer in whose vineyard
we grow. The word farmer in the original is geogyros, literally, the one
who encirles the earth; husbanding in an earlier translation. We are,
indeed, encircled in the arms of this caring husbander of ours, embedded, as
Robert Kegan would have it. Thank you for the connection.
