"There is a really deep well inside me.
And in it dwells God.
Sometimes I am there, too.
But often stones and grit block the well,
and God is buried beneath.
Then God must be dug out again."
This was (is) just wonderful...thank you so much for sharing. I, in turn, shared it with my dad (a neat guy who you would be glad to know...he lives in Oregon, where I was born). He said, in response: "and when I find Him, He says, with a sigh, 'you know, this is gettin kinda' old'..." :-)
kristin, your dad sounds wonderful - i loved his response.
i appreciate everything that E.H. has to share with us regarding relationship with God as her life is a testament to what it means to examine one's faith in the face of evil.
