Springtime God

"I love the image of a 'Springtime God.' Isn't God always in the growing season with us? Isn't everything that happens in life simply seeding something to come- and isn't all of it God? But if that's true, the question is, then, Are all our thoughts new seeds of life to be pursued? Because, if so, then I am being called on and I am, as usual, reluctant to go."

Joan Chittister, Called to Question, p.188

I love this concept. I do think God is always planting seeds in us.

And after all the times I've visited here, I just had a revelation. I have the very same style of planter that you're pretending to drink from in your blog photo. Great minds and all that . . .

This is so wonderful. It makes me really glad that I am going to hear her speak with Richard Rohr in San Antonio on May 1 and 2.
